The life expectancy in Nigeria is about 53 years and this is the average period a person is expected to live in the country. Causes of this varies from terrorism, accidents, and various diseases. Although exercise may not directly reduce an individual's chances of deaths from terrorism and various communicable diseases, exercise is a major medicine in the prevention and management of several non communicable diseases which can lead to death such as hypertension, diabetics, obesity, among others.
